In this role you will contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of Versa’s datapath and infrastructure software, delivering real-time packet and security processing on multi-core platforms for SD-WAN/SASE/SSE environments. You will work with Development, System Test, PLM, and TAC teams to design, develop, and maintain NextGen Packet Forwarding and security features, and you will troubleshoot complex customer issues with a focus on performance and reliability. Qualifications include strong C/C++ skills, deep TCP/IP knowledge, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), experience with packet processing pipelines, and familiarity with Ethernet/QAT/LTE/WiFi/SRIOV/virtio/OVS interfaces; experience with DPDK and multicore systems is a plus. The salary range for California, Washington, or New York City locations is $200,000 to $310,000, and compensation will depend on skills and location, among other factors.
