Overview Yuri is a space biotech company founded in 2019 that leverages the microgravity environment to develop and manufacture biotech products. Our headquarters are in Meckenbeuren, Germany, and our R&D office is in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. The team comprises 30+ space engineers and biologists who have contributed to more than 20 ISS payloads in collaboration with NASA, ESA, GSK, and Charité Berlin.

Position Microgravity Software Engineer (f/m/d) – Hybrid, Meckenbeuren, Germany

Responsibilities - Develop and produce embedded software for experimental payload hardware and spaceflight applications to be flown on the ISS and other orbital launchers. - Develop test and support software; perform software testing and verification at the system level. - Develop software for additional experimental payloads; support management and engineering with future proposals. - Design software architecture and implement user interfaces; maintain clear documentation. - Apply knowledge of embedded systems, low-level hardware interactions, and communication protocols; program microcontrollers; familiarity with G-code and 3D printing protocols is a plus. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; communicate effectively; maintain organized work.
