AND-E is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Backup & Disaster Recovery to own the enterprise DR strategy, framework, and governance. You will conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), define RTOs and RPOs with business stakeholders, and plan and execute DR exercises including failover/failback testing with post-test reports and remediation tracking. Ensure backup, replication, and recovery solutions meet regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, ISO 22301, ISO 27001); maintain disaster recovery documentation, runbooks, and dependency maps; and manage third-party vendors supporting backup, replication, and DR services. Define and report DR KPIs to senior management and support crisis management during business disruptions.

What it takes to succeed in this role Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Continuity Management, or equivalent experience; 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or business continuity, including 3–4 years focused specifically on enterprise Disaster Recovery; hands-on experience defining and validating RTOs/RPOs and translating them into technical recovery requirements; proven track record planning and executing DR exercises for critical systems with structured post-test reporting; solid technical understanding of backup and recovery technologies across on-premises and cloud environments (e.g., Veeam, Zerto, AWS/Azure DR); working knowledge of DORA, ISO 22301, and ISO 27001, including audit preparation experience; strong cross-functional collaboration skills; fluent English required, German language skills
