The role focuses on automating test activities for electronic systems and laboratory setups, with close collaboration with R&D and Production to improve test efficiency, repeatability, and reliability. You will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for test activities; write scripts and software to control test rigs, measurement instruments, and data acquisition systems; develop software interfaces for test control and monitoring; contribute to test system architectures (hardware + software); assist in debugging and troubleshooting electronic systems; and create technical documentation for test tools and procedures. Qualifications include strong programming and automation skills, proficiency in Python (with knowledge of additional languages such as C/C++, JavaScript a plus), a hands-on problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams spanning software and hardware. Experience with PCB design, testing or debugging, web development for test user interfaces, familiarity with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ systems, sensors), CAD design, and 3D printing for prototyping fixtures is desirable.
