BJAK is building a Neobank Superapp for Southeast Asia. As a Technical Product Manager you will own an end-to-end product vertical such as payments and expense management remittance insurance or wealth and trading from strategy and outcomes to the technical design and delivery of the systems behind it. This product moves real money, so licensing, compliance and third-party rails are core constraints not afterthoughts. We are AI-native by default, but AI is a means to an end; you will determine where an AI model genuinely improves outcomes while ensuring control where needed and building reliable auditable systems. You will shape the technical design with engineering, define system boundaries, ensure money movement correctness, and plan for security, latency, scalability and recovery. You will trade off correctness, speed, cost, reliability and user experience, and defend those decisions to engineering, compliance and operations leads. Regulatory inputs such as licensing scope, KYC CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, data residency and privacy will be treated as first class constraints. You will apply AI where it earns its place and define how it is evaluated and when a human stays in the loop. You will ship features behind flags and go live per rail as gates clear. This role requires collaboration across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury and Finance.
