As a Staff Software Engineer on the Cash App Banking server engineering team, you will help lead the overall technical strategy, drive cross-cutting architectural decisions, and mentor engineers to expand their scope and impact at scale. You will partner closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and business leads to develop, communicate, and execute technical roadmaps that benefit the Banking organization. You will influence leaders across the company to drive consistent, sound, and efficient technical decisions and stay hands-on with system designs and code contributions. You will uphold high engineering standards and grow your teammates’ technical breadth through coaching and mentoring. You Have 12+ years of software development or equivalent experience; 3+ years of experience leading large-scale features, including planning, managing, and delivering projects on time while maintaining a high quality bar; ability to design and land globally optimal solutions in a system with many moving parts; a strong track record of helping other engineers grow; Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
