TradingView is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to design and evolve our hybrid cloud platform (On-Premises + AWS) and Internal Developer Platform (IDP). In this role, you will bridge bare-metal infrastructure and AWS to provide 200+ product engineers with a unified, self-service development experience. You will design the architecture for a hybrid platform (On-Premises data center + AWS) and build abstractions for seamless application deployment across all environments. You will develop our Internal Developer Platform and the unified developer portal (Backstage / Custom IDP) to streamline service creation, deployment, and monitoring. You will unify provisioning, management, and operational workflows of Kubernetes clusters across AWS (EKS) and bare-metal environments (bare-metal Kubernetes, KubeVirt). You will write custom platform services, CLI tools, and Kubernetes operators in Go. You will partner with network and bare-metal infrastructure engineers (BGP, Linstor, GlusterFS) to integrate bare-metal solutions into the unified platform layer. You will define the overarching technical strategy and mentor Senior and Lead engineers across teams.
