Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology (DEEP&T) is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of our core application portfolio. In this hybrid role, based in Seattle, WA or Glendale, CA, you will build and enhance well-scoped software components and services, own development tasks from implementation through testing and deployment, and collaborate with Product Management and Quality Assurance to meet requirements and quality standards. You will apply strong software engineering fundamentals, deliver reliable and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, implement automated testing, and maintain technical documentation. Qualifications include 3+ years of professional software development experience; proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript; solid Node.js and API development; CMS integration; OpenSearch/Elasticsearch familiarity; and experience with modern React patterns, GraphQL, and CI/CD practices. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
