Lynden Incorporated is seeking a mid-level Software Developer II to join our SeaTac-based IT team. This role requires 2+ years of hands-on Java experience and focuses on designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting Java-based applications, integrations, APIs, and services for Lynden’s freight management systems. You will deliver high-quality, maintainable code through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development, security, and change management standards. The candidate will collaborate with customers, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements, participate in architecture discussions, and make recommendations on buy-versus-build decisions. Responsibilities include troubleshooting defects, performance issues, and production support incidents, as well as managing multiple projects concurrently. The tech stack includes Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications (Azure/AKS, AWS, or GCP). The role requires ongoing authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. After a training period, this position is hybrid with two days onsite and three days remote at our SeaTac, WA office.
