You will collaborate with Platform and Operations teams to drive technical discovery, design, and implementation of complex systems, and oversee projects from conception to deployment. Responsibilities include mentoring groups of junior, senior, and lead engineers; designing major software components; evaluating new technologies; working with product owners and stakeholders to execute roadmaps; ensuring reliable production systems with on-call participation; and assisting in capacity planning for both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience; 10+ years of professional software development; a proven track record of mentoring and developing reusable solutions; strong object-oriented design with C#/.NET experience a plus; software architecture experience; production support/SRE experience; extensive observability experience (Datadog, Grafana, Wavefront, etc.); significant database design and development experience; capacity planning experience for both cloud and physical infrastructure; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in a team and as an independent thinker.
