The Engineering Experience team builds services that engineers rely on daily and leads initiatives to improve productivity across Wise. This hands-on role involves owning and operating agentic tooling used by engineers across Wise, including security, model/tool access, telemetry, and evaluation. You will build an engineering knowledge base exposed via an MCP server to give engineers and AI agents access to trusted internal context. You will lead AI enablement across engineering through hands-on workshops, practical guidance, and adoption campaigns that help teams use these tools confidently in day-to-day work. You will build and operate products that remove friction across software development—from local setup and code review to deployment and operation. You will work on the developer portal and shared services so tools, guidance, and signals are easy to find and act on. You will use research, feedback, and data to identify common problems and turn them into software that saves time across Wise. Requirements: Senior engineer in a polyglot environment with expertise in Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript (expert in one). Experience shipping production software from design to reliable operation.
