Gallup is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and ship end-to-end, full-stack features. In this hybrid role based in San Francisco, you will work on production-quality back-end code with Node.js and Python, data models and RESTful APIs, and modern JavaScript front-ends, while deploying scalable, production-ready systems. You will prototype with emerging AI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, agents), evaluate frameworks, and make architectural decisions around infrastructure, caching, and deployment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teammates, provide technical mentorship, and help drive fast-moving projects to maturity. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience building production software with a strong back-end focus, solid front-end skills (React, TypeScript), experience with cloud-native AWS services, and familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases. A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s San Francisco office at least three days a week is required.
