Senior QA Engineer with Automation is invited to join the Engineering team of a well-established US education-technology company. The role focuses on testing complex, integrated web applications across UI and API layers. The initial workload is predominantly manual, with an expected mid-term shift to roughly 70% automation and 30% manual testing. Key responsibilities include creating and refining test plans, writing and maintaining automated tests (primarily with Cypress), collaborating with developers in an Agile environment, and tracking test cases using JIRA, TestRail, and Qmetry. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of senior-level manual QA experience, some hands-on automation experience, an automation-minded approach, solid knowledge of HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs, and client-server architecture, and basic SQL. Strong English communication is required; ability to communicate in Russian or Ukrainian is a plus. Nice to have: Cypress/Playwright/Selenium, CI/CD, Agile, Linux basics, and Git.
