Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Systems Test Engineer - ACP Test Lead to join our Research and Advanced Design organization. This on-site role is located in El Segundo, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA. The Test Lead will manage all aspects of the program's test activities, including lab and flight test staffing, planning, execution, and reporting. You will orchestrate lab, ground and flight integration and developmental testing for NGAS in a matrix environment and provide leadership for test engineering personnel to support the Test Statement of Work. Responsibilities include ensuring engineering tests support mission objectives, reviewing test requirements, managing schedules, identifying risks and developing mitigation and closure plans, and coordinating with ground test engineering and operations, aircraft modifications for testing, and with teams at Rancho Bernardo, Space Park, El Segundo and Mojave to meet cost and schedule targets. The role requires clear and proactive communication, and the ability to work with multiple sources of management guidance. We offer flexible work arrangements, a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, opportunities for growth, and a collaborative team environment. Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 8 years of related professional/military experience, or a Master of Science in STEM with 6 years, or a STEM PhD with 4 years.
