Goldman Sachs is seeking a senior technical leader to join the Cloud Engineering & Architecture (CE&A) team. You will design, build, and operate an enterprise-grade cloud platform on AWS, enabling secure, scalable deployment and management of services across the firm. This hands-on leadership role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive large-scale platform initiatives from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities - Design, develop, and operationalize enterprise-grade cloud platform capabilities on AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, CDK, etc.) - Architect scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions and autonomous AI-driven self-healing systems - Define technical standards, best practices, and reference architectures for cloud adoption across the firm - Partner with engineering teams to migrate and modernize workloads to the cloud - Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve operational efficiency - Drive AI-powered FinOps and predictive resource optimization - Mentor engineers across teams; collaborate with security, networking, and compliance to ensure governance - Evaluate emerging technologies and guide platform evolution - Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical leadership on complex initiatives
