Ryanair Labs is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced models and algorithms to optimise pricing strategies, segmentation, and forecasting across the business. You will work autonomously to scope analyses, answer the right questions, and translate findings into actionable decisions for technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will mentor teammates and collaborate with cross-functional partners, applying statistical techniques and machine learning to analyse historical data, forecast demand, and identify revenue opportunities. The role is based in Madrid, Spain, in a hybrid setup with up to three days remote per week, as part of the BI team spanning Dublin, Madrid and Wroclaw. Requirements include a relevant degree (Masters/PhD preferred), 3+ years experience in Data Science, strong Python and SQL, Databricks, cloud knowledge, and experience with ML topics (clustering, forecasting, classification, anomaly detection) and Generative AI support. You should be commercially aware, capable of presenting results to diverse audiences, and eager to contribute to ongoing PoCs and learning opportunities within a fast-growing environment.
