Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team in Chicago, United States. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting large-scale education construction projects. Responsibilities include managing stakeholders such as architects, engineers and suppliers to ensure compliant delivery, analyzing and tracking critical milestones to avoid schedule slips, and ensuring effective governance, processes and systems are used on projects. You will produce formal project status reports, monitor progress across multiple projects, and oversee interfaces between suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews. The role requires coordinating project information through regular meetings and written communications, forecasting milestones, and supervising local design teams in line with commission criteria. You will provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders, respond rapidly to RFIs, and offer expertise in cost control, value engineering and constructability. An independent review of status reports, drawings, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers is expected. Client relationship management should aim to maximize new opportunities. The role also involves strategic thinking, knowledge capture from projects, and process improvement to enhance internal systems.
