Quality Engineer – QEHS Team, Sala, Sweden

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join Metso’s QEHS team in Sala. The role is central to ensuring and developing quality across our operations and reports to the Quality & EHS Manager. The position is based in Sala and requires a high degree of on-site presence; remote work is not offered. Travel may be limited.

Team You will join our QEHS team of eight specialists within quality, health, safety and environment. Together we work to ensure high quality, reliable deliveries and continuous improvements, collaborating across functions to support quality, occupational health and safety. As a central support function, we drive the development of processes, working methods and a quality culture across the organization while supporting questions related to quality, health and safety.

Your mission As Quality Engineer you will be a driving force in quality work with a focus on long-term solutions, clear processes and continuous improvements to ensure high quality across the value chain. The role combines hands-on activity near operations with collaboration in local, national and global networks within Metso. You will work closely with production, engineering, R&D and other functions to capture challenges, drive investigations and translate insights into concrete improvements.
