What you will do: - Under general supervision, collaborate with others to direct and improve the performance of site Industrial Control Systems (ICS). - Promote and follow safety and environmental programs and practices; communicate safety implications related to process automation; support ICS cybersecurity practices and policies. - Provide direction on process automation topics and projects; develop proposals and designs; ensure project work meets site standards. - Maintain ICS hardware and software; identify opportunities for improvement and optimization through automation to enhance operator and operations effectiveness. - Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the Process Control Network while supporting plant performance, cybersecurity, and historian systems. - Specify and review advanced instrumentation solutions; implement equipment lifecycle management with plans, proposals, and budget estimates; perform related duties as required.
