Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Permit Controller to join the Capital Projects team in Stevenage, United Kingdom. In this role you will issue General and Supplemental Permits to Work, monitor contractor activities on projects, and support EHS risk management during demolition and construction. You will fulfill responsibilities of the General Permit Issuer and Supplemental Permit Issuer as defined in VQD-SOP-005517, support the Fire System Management Program communications of potential impairment, manage project EHS risks, provide support for EHS audits, and ensure area hand backs meet standards. You will collate and present H&S related data, support accident and incident investigations, engage with Local EHS Representatives and Area Owners, notify of disruption, facilitate Gemba walks, and assist with area handover. Qualifications include a CSCS card (White/Black), SMSTS, NEBOSH Diploma and/or NEBOSH Certificate, extensive construction industry experience, and knowledge of CDM 2015. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.
