STMicroelectronics Malta is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join the Quality Team on-site in Kirkop, Malta. You will work to resolve and eliminate production issues that impact plant productivity, customer deliveries, and product quality. You will lead a team of process, production, and maintenance personnel in preparing and delivering Internal Incident Reports in a complete and timely manner. You will develop and coordinate root cause analysis, establish permanent corrective actions, and present results in 8D reports to ST Malta Management. You will manage non-conforming material per quality standards, monitor the related metrics, and ensure proper document control flow in the Document Management System. You will drive and support quality initiatives aimed at improving processes and overall quality using Six Sigma methodology and the DMAIC process. You will certify QC Operators and review QC rejects at raw line and finishing stages to define the appropriate disposition. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, 5 years of experience in an Industrial Quality role, knowledge of 8D reporting, FMEA, and SPC, knowledge of IATF 16949 standards, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in the semiconductor industry and managing non-standard materials is an asset. Business-level English is required.
