Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to perform data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory data analysis, predictive analytics, and statistical analysis to translate data into actionable narratives and to develop AI tools that automate key processes. The successful candidate will retrieve information from multiple sources, analyze it for better understanding, and contribute to building AI tools. This position will be based in Washington, DC or the greater National Capital Region (NCR) and is part of a new program with a critical Department of War customer.

What you will do Duties include creating ML-based tools or processes such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems. You will perform statistical analyses, apply data mining techniques, and build high-quality predictive systems. You should be proficient in data visualization and the use of graphical applications, including Power BI and Tableau; major data science languages such as Python and R; managing and merging disparate data sources using Python, R, or SQL. Prior experience with large data, multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics is desirable.
