We are looking for forward-thinking students to join our team, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and develop practical skills through challenging projects. This internship is based in Ditzingen, Germany, and starts in Summer Semester 2027 for a duration of 6 months, with hybrid work arrangement (on-site with some flexibility). During your internship, you will analyze new data sources and derive approaches for machine diagnosis. You will contribute ideas to our existing diagnosis framework and help implement new diagnostic functions. By applying these functions in the framework, you will actively support the development of our diagnostic tools. You will prepare the collected diagnostic data for further analysis with a structured, methodical approach. At the end of your assignment, you will validate the developed functions directly on the machine. Your profile: You are currently studying Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. You are comfortable programming in Python, Matlab, and SQL, with initial knowledge in measurement technology and sensors. You communicate fluently in German and English in an international environment. You approach complex problems analytically and conceptual, and you work in a structured, self-driven manner, especially when tackling new tasks.
