Magna Electronics is seeking a HiL Engineer to join the base engineering team in Timisoara, Romania. This hybrid role focuses on the HiL Farm setup, ongoing testing, and alignment with 2nd level support. You will report to the HiL Test Engineer Lead and assist with HiL bring-up, HiL testing, and HiL P&C activities, coordinating with the Lead and providing troubleshooting, documentation, and timely reporting. You will also ensure effective technical communication with suppliers within the framework established by the Lead. Key qualifications include advanced knowledge of test setups (development boards, power supplies, flashing tools, HiL systems), experience with automotive communication standards (CAN, FlexRay, SPI), CANalyzer/CANoe, and ADAS systems; proficiency with MS Office (Excel), MS Project, and ALM tools (PTC Integrity). Programming skills in C/C++ are a plus. Fluency in English, strong communication, teamwork in a distributed global environment, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally are required. Travel may be needed for events. The position offers an annual gross salary starting from 140,000 RON, flexible working hours, hybrid work, health and wellbeing programs, a meal allowance of 35 RON per day, team events, and ongoing development opportunities.
