Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues during reconciliation and journal preparation; assisting the expense team with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and journals, while maintaining a strong control environment across Expenses and Accounts Payable in line with audit guidelines; managing accruals and prepayments and ensuring expenses are recorded in the correct month; and supporting payment runs and cash flow management, as well as maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships, including with outsource providers.
