Nakupuna Companies is seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii to lead the planning, execution, and management of environmental projects focusing on restoration, compliance, and remediation for federal, state, and private clients. The Environmental Project Manager will oversee site assessments, investigations, remediation, long-term monitoring, and compliance activities under IRP, MMRP, CERCLA, RCRA, and NEPA; supervise field teams, conduct sampling and drilling oversight, and manage subcontractors and budgets. The role includes preparing high-quality technical reports and planning documents (EAs, EISs, SAPs, QAPPs, EHMPs, LUCIPs), developing work plans and health and safety plans, coordinating with regulatory agencies and DoD representatives, and leading project and contract management, including resource allocation, scheduling, invoicing, status reporting, and cost estimating. The PM will mentor junior staff, promote knowledge sharing, and support business development through proposals and client engagement. The position requires travel up to 20–25% and may involve occasional weekend or holiday work. Qualifications include strong written and verbal communication, ability to lead interdisciplinary teams, and a solid foundation in CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA, and DERP/IRP/MMRP. Preferred certifications include HAZWOPER, RG/PG, EIT/PE, CEP, PMP, and security clearance eligibility. A bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, or related field is required, with at least three years of environmental consul
