Electrical Quality Engineer Work arrangement: On-site

About the role Muon Space seeks an Electrical Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be hands-on and experienced in aerospace manufacturing, with a focus on production and quality assurance for high-reliability spaceflight electronics. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality programs to ensure satellites meet the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities - Inspection and Testing: Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of satellites, sub-assemblies, and electrical hardware (PCBs, harnesses, etc.), conforming to IPC standards and Space Addendums; support soldering, conformal coating, harness inspection; environmental and functional testing including TVAC, vibration, EMI. - Nonconformance & Corrective Action Management: Lead root-cause analysis, track corrective actions; collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers and vendors. - Quality Management System & Documentation: Build and maintain Quality Management System; create internal specifications, workmanship standards, work instructions; ensure QA standards; maintain quality plans, inspection records, test reports, nonconformance reports. - Process Improvement: Analyze inspection and assembly processes to improve quality and drive corrective actions. - Compliance and Standards: Ensure processes comply with ISO 9001, AS9100, and aerospace requirements. - Data Analysis: Collect/analyze data to monitor quality trends; use
