Rose Associates, a leading New York City-based real estate company that owns, develops, and operates urban properties, is seeking a Director of Multifamily Operations to oversee the accounting and financial operations for select residential properties. The role requires maintaining and reconciling general ledgers, coordinating audits with client accountants and independent CPA firms, preparing and posting journal entries (including accruals), and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages in a timely manner in accordance with internal and GAAP standards. The candidate will work closely with asset management and external clients, ensure 100% accuracy of financial records, support year-end closes and auditor deadlines, and may perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, at least five years of accounting experience in real estate (preferably residential), experience with accrual and cash accounting, familiarity with property management software (Microsoft Office, P2P, ClickPay, Yardi), and CPA license is strongly preferred. Compensation includes a base salary range of $100,000 - $115,000 plus full benefits. This position is based on-site in New York, NY.
