Data Engineer on the AIDT Delivery & Operations Team will design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines, including streaming data and API integrations, to support data-driven decision making. Working with limited supervision, you will provide end-to-end design guidance for analytic solutions, deploy pipelines to higher environments, and integrate with SQL-based systems to ensure production-ready data products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Southwest to build robust data infrastructure, run tests to isolate issues, and refine systems to adapt to evolving business needs. This is a remote position that may require travel for training, meetings, and conferences. While most work will be performed remotely, there is a limited group of states or localities where employees are ineligible to regularly perform their work; ineligible locations include Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico.
