Construction Assistant Project Manager – Fort Wayne, Indiana (Remote OK)

Description: The Assistant Project Manager works directly with subcontractors and clients to successfully execute the complete building process. After becoming familiar with the design, the PM team plans and sequences work, buys out materials, and sources subcontractor services. They ensure the work aligns with project timelines and meets Tippmann Construction’s quality and safety standards. The PM team communicates clearly with subcontractors, internal team members, and client personnel to deliver a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities

Skills and Requirements:

Establish project plans and schedules, anticipating work days, weeks, and months in advance
Perform material take-offs, submit to suppliers, and source materials
Prepare bid documents and source subcontractors
Initiate subcontractor work and ensure timeliness and quality
Manage project work to meet Tippmann Safety Standards
Utilize Tippmann processes and tools to maintain consistency in project management
Communicate effectively about all aspects of the project
BS in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of industrial facility design, engineering, and construction
Knowledge of thermal processing is a plus
OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred
Quick learner, problem-solver, resilient, goal-oriented
Strong communication skills
Detail-oriented with results-driven track record
Self-starter with limited supervision
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project)
Knowledge of D
