Dreamscape Hospitality is seeking a Catering Sales Manager (OEM Non-Exempt) to generate and manage catering sales within the hotel in Houston, TX. This role involves proactive client acquisition, event planning coordination, and maintaining strong client relationships to maximize revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include identifying and closing catering sales, building relationships with corporate clients and event planners, developing tailored proposals, and collaborating with the sales and marketing team on promotions. You will coordinate events with the banquet and culinary teams, manage site visits and tastings, and prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for operations. You will provide exceptional client service, nurture repeat business, and analyze feedback for service improvements. Administrative duties include drafting contracts and proposals, managing event budgets, and maintaining records in hotel sales systems (Delphi, Opera). You will monitor profitability and ensure adherence to hotel policies. Collaboration with Food & Beverage, banquet, and event planning teams is essential, as is cross-selling services with the hotel’s sales team. Represent the property at trade shows and networking events and assist with marketing materials and digital campaigns for catering services.
