BigBear.ai is seeking an Android Developer to join a mission-focused cyber team supporting critical national security objectives. In this on-site role in McLean, Virginia, you will design, develop, and sustain custom Android software tools used by operational teams in fast-moving, real-world environments. You will own end-to-end development—from requirements and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance—while collaborating with end users to translate evolving needs into reliable tools that perform under pressure. You will diagnose issues, apply networking concepts, and produce documentation to operate and support the software. You will mentor junior developers and respond to time-sensitive cyber problems.

What you need to have: - Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (or the ability to obtain one) - 3+ years of experience - Experience developing, testing, and debugging in Python and C - Experience building UNIX applications using make/build environments on mission-relevant platforms - Experience developing CNO tools and understanding of sockets, IP/TCP, and application-layer protocols - Proficiency with debuggers/tools (WinDbg, gdb, IDA Pro), experience reverse engineering native binaries - Experience developing proof-of-concept exploit software - Knowledge of OS internals (runtime linker/loader, ELF, file systems, MAC/DAC, ASLR/DEP/NX), and understanding of mitigations - Experience with version control (git, GitLab)
