Pointsharp is seeking an Accountant for our German entity to own a broad accounting scope and help shape our finance function. This is not a role that simply maintains processes; we are looking for someone who takes responsibility, identifies opportunities for improvement, and supports our finance transformation. Location: Freiburg im Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Hybrid work model.

You will join an international Finance Team with colleagues in Germany, Sweden, and Denmark, reporting to the Head of Accounting in Sweden. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and, when needed, supporting accounts receivable; performing bank reconciliations and ensuring high-quality financial records; participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings; acting as the main contact for external tax advisors regarding tax reconciliations and annual reporting; coordinating with external auditors; driving continuous improvements of financial processes and controls; and supporting the final stages of our Business Central implementation and the transition to the new finance platform planned for January 1, 2027.
