DFDS is seeking an Accountant to join our accounting team in La Roca del Vallès, Catalonia, Spain, on a paternity leave replacement. In this hands-on role, you will help ensure accurate, robust accounting operations in an international environment.

About the role You will report to the designated Accountant and play a key part in delivering high-quality accounting processes. You’ll act as a trusted partner across the business, helping to ensure our accounting processes are robust, compliant, and continuously improving.

What you’ll be doing - Monitor incoming payments - Support customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies - Manage Accounts Payable - Process supplier invoices and employee expenses - Prepare payment runs and maintain supplier records - Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries - Support month-end closing activities and reconciliations - Maintain accurate accounting records - Support daily treasury and cash flow activities - Assist with bank reconciliations and cash monitoring
