SumUp is seeking self-employed Field Sales Partners in Ireland (based in County Meath, Leinster) to build their own business representing SumUp’s payments technology. This is not a traditional job; it’s an entrepreneurial opportunity backed by one of the world’s leading fintech brands. You will represent SumUp’s payments, POS, and operations ecosystem to local merchants, creating a long-term, recurring income stream tied to your performance.

Compensation is 100% commission-based. Upfront commission is 50% of the upfront contract value paid at sign-up (average upfront value per merchant around €500). Lifetime residuals are 25% of the transaction volume from every merchant you sign, paid monthly for up to five years. To support your early growth, residuals can be enhanced by up to 3x during the first three months. In addition, you earn direct commissions on every card reader sold. Leading partners earn around €7,000+ per month, with six-figure earnings realistic for top performers in the first year.

Your day-to-day: Prospect at least 30 local SMEs daily through face-to-face visits and outbound outreach—retailers, restaurants, cafes, beauty salons, and more. Use consultative selling to analyse a merchant’s current payments setup and present SumUp’s ecosystem as the long-term solution. Own your designated territory while having the freedom to generate business anywhere in your local market. Build meaningful conversations and convert them into 3–5 new merchant partnerships each week. Become the recognised payments expert in your local business community.
