Microsoft Edge Web Platform team is seeking a Principal Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for core web platform primitives, including networking and navigation, media and storage, rendering and layout, web APIs and the JavaScript engine, and the developer and app platform. You will set technical direction, grow and coach a high-performing team, and deliver interoperable implementations that improve browsing across Microsoft Edge and Chromium. You will influence web standards and collaborate with the standards community, other browser vendors, and internal partner teams to bring new capabilities to the platform. The role requires deep experience in browser or runtime systems, strong systems thinking, and the ability to lead both people and projects end-to-end.
