Relief Sales Representative will assist members of the sales team in servicing Summit Beverage customers by selling products and meeting each customer’s needs when covering a team member’s route. This position is responsible for the sale, distribution, placement, and merchandising of Summit Beverage products in retail accounts within the assigned territory. Duties include customer relations, accounts receivable collections, and maintaining a weekly schedule of appointments.

Responsibilities - Market responsibilities: Plan sales objectives and conduct routes efficiently; visit accounts according to established frequency; observe accounts for sales opportunities. - Inspect on-hand and backstock to ensure proper pricing, rotation, and product placement; perform merchandising as required. - Ensure compliance with company quality assurance standards for products. - Maintain sufficient inventory levels (including call-ins) and manage accounts receivable collections. - Deliver factual and persuasive sales presentations and close sales calls effectively. - Document and maintain accurate records (route books, recap forms) before the next sales call; maintain customer logs to profile customer needs. - Meet or exceed sales volume, profitability, and distribution goals. - Recommend and perform resets as needed; execute all in-store features and displays to outperform competition.
