As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will architect and implement reliability solutions that help Wrike scale its backend, improve performance, and enable rapid recovery from failures. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining critical reliability components such as HTTP rate limiters, database schema migration tools, circuit breakers, and Redis-based caching; troubleshooting complex production issues; leading investigations during severe incidents; creating scalable tooling to support other teams; leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate development; promoting reliability best practices across engineering; and mentoring other engineers while continuing as an individual contributor.
