You will develop software interfaces for controlling and operating laboratory hardware and support the next generation of quantum technology. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and supporting software for QphoX's product roadmap; creating software for testing, measurement, and operation of devices, including embedded software, firmware, drivers, communication interfaces, and graphical user interfaces; managing software projects and communicating requirements, priorities, progress, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders; collaborating with physicists, engineers, and scientists to translate requirements into software deliverables; promoting software engineering best practices such as Git workflows, code reviews, testing, documentation, and controlled integration into the main codebase; learning about laboratory operations and translating experimental workflows into reliable, maintainable software solutions.
