Devoteam G Cloud is seeking a senior Looker Expert to join our Madrid, Spain team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Looker in production environments, including the design and management of Looker architectures with multiple instances (dev/pre/prod), multi-projects, and multi-clients. Key qualifications include advanced LookML skills (refinements, extends, Liquid syntax), expert SQL with BigQuery (query and cost optimization), and strong data modeling knowledge (star schema, snowflake, metrics, semantic layers, and a single large table). Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Looker and working with GitHub is required, as well as experience with LookML testing, validations, and quality controls; release management and versioning of models and dashboards; working across dev, staging, and production environments; establishing modeling standards and best practices; managing access control, roles and permissions in Looker and BigQuery; and experience in data governance, certified metrics, and single source of truth.
