Capital On Tap is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to join our hybrid SRE team in London. Working with the XP engineering group, you will help ensure our platforms are fast, reliable, and scalable by designing, building, and monitoring systems to prevent issues before they occur.
What you’ll do - Manage and automate resources in Azure, Datadog, NGINX, and Cloudflare. - Develop, deploy, and monitor Kubernetes and Serverless resources. - Build and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform, Helm, and Go CRDs. - Improve systems and processes by consulting stakeholders to boost platform performance. - Design and maintain monitoring and alerting strategies with Datadog. - Contribute to new application architecture and design processes. - Create SLIs and SLOs to increase visibility of applications. - Align with the Product team on SLAs and core service objectives. - Collaborate with foundational teams to build reusable automated solutions. - Optimize CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Octopus Deploy, MirrorD, and Flux. - Lead incident response and take part in communications, investigations, remediation, and post-mortems to protect the customer experience.
What we’re looking for - Experience managing public cloud environments. - Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation (Terraform, etc.). - Experience with CI/CD tooling, pipelines, templates, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. - Experience building and deploying frontend applications with tools like CodeMag
