About the role

PHMG is embarking on an exciting phase to modernize its data capability and enhance the way we work. To support this vision, we are expanding our Insights team and seeking a Data Scientist who can identify trends, uncover patterns, and extract actionable insights from complex business data. The role involves performing statistical analyses, developing predictive models to forecast subscription renewals, churn, and revenue trends, profiling clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and segmenting audiences. You will collaborate with the Data Engineering team to improve data models and present findings to stakeholders in clear, actionable terms. This position is based in Manchester with hybrid working arrangements, and the package is £77,000 OTE.

Candidate profile: Proven experience as a Data Scientist, ideally within a sales or commercial environment. Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and machine learning. Proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, pandas). Experience in using MS Fabric desirable. SQL skills would be beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A can-do attitude and self-starter. Comfortable working collaboratively within a cross-functional team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly. Proven track record of using insights to drive business change.
