We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Home Automation Experience (HAX) Team Automation Pod in Krakow. This role primarily focuses on backend development and data, with responsibility for delivering high-impact features end-to-end—from requirements gathering with Product Management and Quality Engineering to design, implementation, and deployment—while collaborating with peers across engineering, product, and QA. You will work on backend services and on-device software across platforms, and contribute to edge computing infrastructure on our panels for automation features such as rules and schedules. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional software development experience, strong backend skills (building and maintaining HTTP APIs/services using REST and/or GraphQL), solid object-oriented design with SOLID principles, and experience with databases and modern toolchains (Git, CI/CD, JSON/YAML). Experience with C#, .NET Core is a plus. You will be expected to write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews, cross-team collaboration, and architectural decision-making. The role requires effective communication with product, design, and QA teams and the ability to break down ambiguous problems into shippable increments.
