This hybrid Kyiv, Ukraine-based role will involve working with grant funds, maintaining accurate bookkeeping, and ensuring compliance with Ukrainian nonprofit accounting and tax regulations. Responsibilities include managing accounting for assets, liabilities, and transactions (fixed assets, inventory, production costs, sales, and financial results); handling primary documentation; recording transactions; providing management with reliable accounting information; developing the chart of accounts; participating in financial analysis; preparing data for reporting and archiving documents; and maintaining accounting databases. Qualifications include 3+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience preferred), a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field, strong knowledge of Ukrainian nonprofit accounting/tax legislation, experience with full-cycle accounting (including fixed assets, inventory, payables/receivables, cash), proficiency with 1C/BAS or similar software and MS Excel, high attention to detail, ability to work independently, and English at Pre-Intermediate level.
