In this role you will collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and our managed service partner to design, implement, and continuously improve resilient, scalable, and secure systems. You will apply cloud infrastructure knowledge, automation, monitoring, performance optimization, and incident management to deliver high uptime and support evolving business needs. You will help shape and deliver the Site Reliability/DevOps strategy, implement best practices to improve availability, resilience, security, and performance, and use metrics, logs, and data analytics to drive continuous improvement while promoting inclusive, user-centric digital experiences. You will build strong cross-functional relationships, advocate for SRE across the organisation, mentor engineers to grow AWS expertise, and collaborate with teams to define performance expectations and robust solutions. The role may involve Azure responsibilities where required, and the position is based at UK offices (London, Belfast, Edinburgh, Cardiff) with hybrid working, subject to management approval.
