Overview The Senior Data Analyst acts as a bridge between IT and Finance, supporting SAP BW and related finance applications from a functional perspective. The role emphasizes understanding finance processes, translating business needs into clear requirements, maintaining mappings and hierarchies, and ensuring stable and secure system operations. This position aligns more with a functional consultant than a software developer.
What you will do: - Serve as the interface between Finance, IT, product owners, development teams, and end users. - Analyze business requests and translate them into functional and technical requirements. - Support SAP BW and CDM topics, including mappings, hierarchies, master data, reporting logic, and content maintenance. - Act as deputy/support for CDM-related activities, keeping content consistent and up to date. - Support users with incidents, access requests, application errors, functional questions, and recurring operational tasks. - Maintain and update mapping files and other functional content required for correct system behavior. - Support financial planning, accounts receivable, and other finance-related applications not fully covered by the core team. - Coordinate requirements and tasks in Jira and support agile delivery activities (sprint preparation, PI Planning). - Support testing, validation, documentation, and communication of system changes. - Contribute to stable operations, data security, data qual
