Data Analyst (Fixed Term Employment) – Stockholm, Sweden (On-site) – 14-month fixed-term role to cover parental leave within H&M Group’s Tech Sustainability team. You will apply strong technical foundations to develop high‑quality analyses that support Resource Use and Circularity sustainability needs, translating data into actionable business insights and aligning work with the PI roadmap. Responsibilities include data discovery, building data products, testing and evaluating model outputs, and communicating findings to stakeholders; framing problems with stakeholders, preparing data for analysis, documenting work, and sharing knowledge through Communities of Practice. You will collaborate with data analysts across sustainability areas, the program manager, and a data engineer, and you will follow OKRs and KPIs. Requirements include a degree in Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; proficiency in SQL and Power BI; experience with data modeling and data connectors (BigQuery, SharePoint); knowledge of Google Cloud, data quality and testing; plus working knowledge of Python and/or R, experience with sustainability data and CSRD/ESRS; familiarity with cloud-based data transformation tools (e.g., Dataform, dbt); understanding of data governance and metadata management; agile experience; proactive, ownership-driven attitude; and a collaborative, continuous-improvement mindset.
