About the role
Overview: D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the United States, is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the sales process and provide excellent customer service. This on-site role is located in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers.
- Uncover customer goals and challenges and position DR Horton as the best solution.
- Overcome objections and close sales; maintain documentation from sale through loan, options, and construction.
- Continually source new sales opportunities; develop and present a marketing plan; network with realtors.
- Manage time to meet sales goals; maintain and expand a database of prospects.
- Attend sales meetings; build rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards; conduct business professionally to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit.
- Associate’s Degree or 2 years of related experience.
- Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license; ability to drive day or night.
- Proficiency with DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop; MS Office and email.
- Physical ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours; lift up to 25 pounds; other standard physical requirements.
- Licensing requirements vary by state; prior CRM experience preferred; strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
