In this role you will design, develop, and maintain the backend services that power Orfium’s applications as part of an Agile team, building scalable and reliable software, contributing to technical discussions, and delivering high-quality solutions that support the global music industry. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers, take ownership of your work, and continuously grow your technical skills. Responsibilities include maintaining and building new features for our B2B products; proposing solutions and participating in team meetings; reviewing code; documenting work clearly; mentoring engineers; and designing, implementing, and delivering complex features and systems autonomously. Qualifications include 3+ years of production software development experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Spring, ExpressJS); proficiency in object-oriented languages (Python, Ruby, Java, C#); hands-on SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred); strong coding and Git version control skills; understanding of modern architectures, design patterns, and data structures; excellent communication and teamwork abilities; and fluent English.
