In this role you will develop innovative measurement methodologies, apply causal inference and machine learning techniques beyond traditional A/B testing, and provide technical leadership to enable evidence-based decision-making at scale. Responsibilities include designing robust measurement approaches for randomized experiments, quasi-experimental methods and observational studies, researching and prototyping statistical and ML techniques to tackle real-world measurement challenges, and promoting best practices for experiment design and analysis across multiple product and business teams. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers and analysts to identify high-impact opportunities, influence the evolution of PlayStation's experimentation platform, and mentor analysts and data scientists to raise technical capability. Qualifications include a Master's degree (PhD preferred) in a quantitative field, 5+ years of experience in experimentation and causal inference, expert Python and SQL, and a track record of delivering reusable analytical methodologies and driving technical direction.
